interest as people are trying to get an inexpensive alternative
that is safe on the skin too. Home remedies for acne can range
from eating nutritious meals that are rich in vegetables and
fruits, taking supplements of vitamin/minerals and trying

Acne can be controlled and cured if certain
basic precautions are taken. Washing the face regularly with a
mild medicated soap, drinking plenty of water, getting out in
the sun for a short while especially in the early morning when

Some people have found the application of a
paste of powdered orange peel very effective. Applying lemon
juice regularly is effective too.
Applying essential oils on the affected parts
overnight can do some good too. Oils such as tea tree oil,
clove, lavender and rosewood oil can be diluted and applied by
those who have a sensitive skin.
Some have tried applying a paste of cooked
oatmeal as one of the acne home treatments. The paste is washed
off after dries. Oats have been used to exfoliate the skin,
some have tried a combination of honey and oatmeal paste.

cucumbers and believe it or not toothpaste! Applying egg white,
washing face with salted warm water twice a day are all home

sandalwood or turmeric paste is also effective. Applying a
paste of basil and neem leaves has been tried too.

due to prolonged use of chemicals. These homemade remedies are
safe on the skin if used in moderation. Prolonged use of any of
